Form submissions

Every time someone completes your form, a submission is recorded with all their answers and uploaded files.

View submissions

Open the form builder and select the Submissions tab. You see a table with each submission's date, submitter name/email, status, and the number of uploaded assets.

Submission statuses

  • Incomplete — the submitter started but has not yet pressed Submit.
  • Submitted — the response was received and is being processed.
  • Completed — all files have been moved to their destination boards.
  • Failed — something went wrong during processing (rare).

Inspect a submission

Select a row to open the submission detail page. Here you can see every answer the submitter provided, preview uploaded files, and navigate to the boards where assets were placed.

Delete a submission

From the submissions table, use the delete action on any row. Deleting a submission removes the record but does not delete assets that have already been placed in boards.

Where do the assets go?

Assets appear in the destination boards you configured on each question. If per-submission boards are enabled, they are nested under a board named after the submitter. On Business plans and above, you can also automatically invite the submitter as a guest to their submission board.
