Air.inc Pricing 2026: Plans, Storage and Price Changes

Air is the exception in this category: it publishes its prices. Credit where it's due.

It also changes them often. In late 2026 Air restructured its plans again: storage is now a fixed amount per plan, AI credits are a separate allowance, and Starter went from $25/month to $100/month billed annually. This page covers the current plans and what changed.

The Short Answer

Air's Starter plan costs $100/month billed annually ($1,200/year), or $125 month to month. Business costs $900/month billed annually ($10,800/year), or $1,100 month to month ($13,200/year). There's a permanent free plan, and Enterprise is custom-priced.

Starter includes 200 GB and up to 5 users. Business includes 2 TB and unlimited users. AI credits come on top and no longer affect your storage.

Annual billing saves 20% on Starter and about 18% on Business. Prices were checked on Air's pricing page on November 2, 2026.

How Storage and Credits Work Now

Storage is fixed per plan. Free has 10 GB, Starter 200 GB, Business 2 TB and Enterprise 5+ TB. On Business you can add storage in 1 TB steps for $50/month or $500/year. On Enterprise, extra terabytes are $500/year each.

Credits only cover AI. Air describes credits as its currency for creating and editing with AI, including image editing, video creation and automated workspace tasks. How many credits an action uses depends on the activity and the AI model. Credits reset each month.

You can buy more credits on Starter, Business and Enterprise: a pack adds 1,000 credits a month for $50/month, or $500/year billed annually. Extra credits don't roll over. The Free plan can't add credits.

The practical upshot: Air is now much easier to compare with other DAMs, because 200 GB means 200 GB no matter how much AI you use.

What Changed in Late 2026

An earlier version of this guide described Air's previous model, where one pool of credits covered both storage and AI. That's no longer how Air works.

Business kept its price. Starter's annual price went up nearly 5x, and the free plan got smaller.

Air's Price History Is Worth Knowing

Air has now restructured its pricing four times since 2020, each step moving further from its original "affordable DAM for small teams" positioning:

If you're signing an annual contract, factor in that Air's trajectory has been consistently upward and its structure keeps changing.

What to Ask Before Committing

"Will we stay under 5 users?" Starter caps at 5, and the next step is Business at 9x the price.
"How many AI credits does our team actually use in a month?" Run the free plan or Starter first and measure.
"Is the annual price locked for the full term?" Given Air's history, get this in writing.
"What happens to our plan if Air restructures again mid-contract?"
"What do we pay when we outgrow 200 GB on Starter?" Air publishes storage add-ons for Business and Enterprise, not Starter.

When Air Is Genuinely Worth It

We compete with Air, so weigh this accordingly.

Air is the right call when:

AI-powered creative work is central to your workflow: image editing, video creation and generating variants at scale
Your team is design-forward and visual-first. Air's interface is genuinely one of the best in the category
You need unlimited users and can justify Business
You value self-serve signup with published prices, which Air does properly

Air is the wrong call when: you're a team of 6 to 20 people on a tight budget (Starter is too small and Business is $10,800 a year), you need a published, shareable brand guide (Air's Context Layer stores brand fonts, colours, logos and usage rules to drive Canvas edits, but doesn't publish them as a guide), or you organize work by client rather than by asset.

At the top end, Baseline's Business plan is 3 TB for $4,188/year, against Air Business's 2 TB for $10,800-$13,200/year: roughly 61-68% less for more storage.

At the entry level it's closer. Baseline Starter is $588/year for 250 GB and 3 members. Air Starter is $1,200/year for 200 GB and 5 users. If you have 4 or 5 people, Air Starter is the cheaper way to fit them; Baseline's next step up is Team at $2,028/year with 10 members and 1 TB.

Fair's fair on the free tier: Air's free plan is more generous than ours: 10 GB and 3 users, against our 1 GB and 2 members. If you're a small team that can live inside a free plan, Air's is the better one.

The honest trade: Air's AI features are stronger than ours, and if creative multiplication is central to your work, that's a real reason to pay more. Baseline adds live brand guide publishing, which Air doesn't offer, and pricing that hasn't changed model every year.
